Empire to Celebrate 50 Years of Hip Hop with Performance by Too $hort

Empire will salute 50 years of hip hop on October 15, 2023 with a concert in San Francisco – the city where the company was founded. The Bay Area-centric event aims to uplift and honor every aspect of Bay Area hip-hop culture and will be hosted by legendary rapper/producer Too $hort and longtime radio personalities Sway Calloway and Chuy Gomez.

EMPIRE will celebrate a day of hip hop with over 1,000 enthusiasts and lovers of the genre and will incorporate some of the best Bay Area DJs including Steady, Cream of Beat, Big Von, and Scotty Fox, MCs with a surprise guest hip hop cypher, breakdancers, beatboxers, graffiti artists, plus local streetwear and food/beverage vendors.
