Some pretty exciting news has hit the San Francisco music scene this morning. It looks like two new San Francisco music venues will open up in the Spring of 2018 – August Hall and Fifth Arrow. August Hall, will be a live music and special event venue, and Fifth Arrow, a cocktail, dining, and gaming parlor with three bowling lanes. And both will be reachable within walking distance from Union Square.

Partner Scott Murphy said this about the announcement, “We have had the privilege of growing up in an area filled with creativity, character and acceptance of all walks of life. Having August Hall and Fifth Arrow located in the epicenter of Union Square affords us a forum and space to unite guests from near and far through live music and entertainment, while showcasing the best of the City we know and love. Simply put, August Hall and Fifth Arrow is the realization of a dream come true.”

August Hall – named after its 1890s architect August Headman – will featured artists presented by Live Nation and will hold a capacity that will range from 750 guests for concerts and up to 1,000 guests for dance events.

“August Hall is an exciting opportunity for all of us at Live Nation San Francisco to once again be part of a memorable and special destination for live entertainment in San Francisco. At August Hall, much like The Fillmore, the attention to detail, passion and care for the fan experience will resonate for both the artists and their fans for years to come,” said Jodi Goodman, President at Live Nation Northern California. “August Hall is destined to become an iconic, must-visit venue in the Bay Area and we look forward to releasing an inspiring schedule of shows in the coming months.”

August Hall event tickets will be available at www.augusthallsf.com or the on-site box office. An inaugural calendar of events will be released early next year in anticipation of its Spring 2018 opening.
