It’s been over 10 years since San Francisco-based Deafheaven released their first demo and shook the foundation of heavy music. Four full-length albums later they have announced their latest, Infinite Granite will be available on August 20.
In the meantime, take a listen to “Great Mass of Color” across a variety of streaming services to experience yet another shift in their sound. Starting light as a feather building to a heavy slam of power the track seems to signal yet another phase of their sound. Powerful stuff as always.
