OUTSIDE LANDS 2021

in Music News by

The only downside to a festival like Outside Lands is too much good music playing on multiple stages at the same time. You just wish you could take it all in, but really you have to pick and choose. I guess that’s what they call good problems to have.

The festival that had been canceled in 2020 and postponed in 2021 got off to a great start yesterday with stellar performances by myriad popular artists. Seen below are just a few standouts from the day including Buscabella, Q, Sharon Van Etten, Khruangbin, and Drama.

The day started in typical Indian Summer fashion with a scorching autumn sun, but halfway in, San Francisco’s trusted friend the fog came creeping in. It didn’t stop attendees from having the time of their lives. For many, the thought of attending a music festival seemed a distant dream since the start of the pandemic. Yesterday and throughout the weekend it’ll be a reality. One that is long overdue.
