Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Closes with a Bang

The second annual Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa wrapped up a couple of weeks ago. The unforgettable of music and connection, showcased 43 scheduled concerts across three vibrant stages, peppered with some pretty epic impromptu moments. The main stage came alive each night with the jazz-fused genius of Artist in Residence Robert Glasper, complemented by the comedic brilliance of Dave Chappelle as the host.

Dave Chappelle summed it up perfectly: “This was the one!” It was a showcase of boundless talent across every inch of every stage, a celebration of our culture’s creativity and innovation.

Honoring the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, the festival the small-town festival brought in an incredible lineup of cultural luminaries and next-generation superstars from the worlds of jazz and hip hop. Nas, Mary J. Blige, Chance The Rapper, De La Soul, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Anderson .Paak, PJ Morton, Cory Henry, and Robert Glasper.
