Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco will be now headlining this Sunday’s Stern Grove Festival concert on June 26. She will be joined on-stage by previously announced Bay Area-based acts Peaches Christ and DJ LadyRyan.
Widely considered a feminist icon, DiFranco is considered a leader of the DIY movement, being one of the first female artists to create her own record label in 1990. Liz Phair and her band are, unfortunately, unable to join due to a COVID-related cancellation.
To celebrate the lineup addition, more free ticket reservations have just become available this afternoon for fans via sterngrove.org. Previous reservations for the original Liz Phair performance will also be honored.
