Baby Metal Announced as Direct Tour Support for Red Hot Chili Peppers’ First Uk Tour in Five Years

Baby Metal has been confirmed as direct tour support for Red Hot Chili Peppers’ first UK tour in five years. The J-pop teen metal hybrid group, featuring 18-year-old Su-metal and 16-year-olds Yuimetal and Moametal, have taken the world by storm since their formation in 2010. Recently completing a sold-out 2016 US Tour, the band has gained attention from the likes of The New York Times, VOGUE, Vanity Fair, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New Yorker, Entertainment Weekly and Esquire.

Their latest album METAL RESISTANCE peaked at number fifteen on the UK Albums Chart, the highest position reached by a Japanese band. The music video for their single “Karate” has surpassed 19.6 Million views on YouTube.
