‘Young the Giant’ Concert Special airs tonight

in Music News by

Tune in to the Audience Network concert special “Young the Giant,” which airs tonight on DIRECTV Ch 239/U-verse Ch 1114. The indie-rock group stopped by Red Studios in Los Angeles for a concert and intimate interview with Ted Stryker.

“This was one of the first times we played ‘Something to Believe in live,” says lead vocalist Sameer Gadhia. “It’s always an ephemeral experience to skate on that line, knowing that you have to live in every moment to not mess up. It’s kind of in line with the themes in the song; pushing within the limits of the human experience.”

You can preview the concert special on Popmatters HERE.

Young the Giant broke through with their 2010 self-titled debut album, which featured the RIAA gold-certified smashes, “My Body” and “Cough Syrup.” In support of the new album, the group will begin a tour across North America launching on Saturday, August 27, with marquee stops at the world famous Radio City Music Hall in New York on Saturday, September 17, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, October 21, and Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on Friday, November 4.
