Tei Shi Announces West Coast Tour w/ Stop at The Swedish American Hall

in Music News by

Following sold out dates on the east coast and a string of performances on tour with MØ, Tei Shi has announced a run of west coast tour dates. The tour kicks off in LA on June 12th and wraps up in Portland on June 16th, with a stop at the Swedish American Hall on June 13. See full tour schedule below.

Tei Shi released her debut album Crawl Space to rave reviews earlier this year. About the release The New Yorker wrote, “The spindly compositions that Valerie Teicher records as Tei Shi are fierce in their modesty, making spare use of whispered high notes and loud screams for a well-studied blend of Janet and Gwen.” PAPER described Crawl Space as “Shimmering vocals, pulsing basslines, sultry synths and a vulnerable-yet-cool-girl attitude.”
