in Music News by
According to a press release that went out this morning, GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Patty Griffin has announced an acoustic tour beginning with a rare club date, two-night stand at New York’s City Winery October 30 and 31 and ending November 21 and 22 with two nights at The Birchmere. All dates will have Joan Shelley supporting, except for two dates in Iowa for which Griffin will be opening for John Prine. The complete itinerary is below.
Every Patty Griffin song arrives fully and perfectly formed, which is perhaps her greatest gift… Her songwriting is honest and compassionate no matter the subject, her voice uniquely compelling and her guitar work unfailingly evocative…She’s a songwriter at the top of her already formidable game. – NPR
