Nightly Introduce Themselves to San Francisco Audience

in SF Concert Reviews by

Dark and dreamy alt-pop duo, Nightly, stopped by the Café du Nord last night to introduce themselves to San Francisco, a city that they profess isn’t one that they perform at often. “We don’t usually play out here,” said singer Jonathan Capecci. “So, it’s great to see you guys singing along to the lyrics.”

The band that is comprised of Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta, formerly of Dinner And A Suit, has only one EP under their belt but has already headlined their first tour, supported The Night Game, The Struts, K.Flay, and NF. And if that wasn’t enough their biggest song to date “XO,” has amassed over 7 million streams.

The success of “XO” was evident last night when it received the biggest reaction from the crowd that was pretty much singing along to every song from the beginning to end of the short set.

Standout track: “Holding On”
