MUSIC IN SF TONIGHT: Tove Lo Coming to the Fox in Oakland, Calif.

in Music News by

Swedish Grammy nominated and multi-platinum artist Tove Lo is coming to the Fox tonight, to promote her latest release “Lady Wood,” which reached #1 on the Alternative iTunes Charts. The 11-city “Lady Wood Tour” of the U.S. and Canada opened February 6th at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, and wraps up at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on February 24th.

Back in October of last year, Tove Lo celebrated the release of her highly anticipated album by premiering “Fairy Dust” — the brainchild of Tove Lo and Swedish director and co-writer Tim Erem — at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. 500 special guests joined to celebrate the release, premiere and Tove Lo’s birthday by drinking cocktails under the stars at Tove’s own Carnival Rave which featured a silent disco ferris wheel, dry slide, black light body dips, a contortionist, and many more fun festivities for guests to enjoy. Notable guests who joined in on the fun included best friends Icona Pop, plus Erik Hassle, Bonnie McKee, Kate Nash, members of Maroon 5, Citizen Four, and many, many more.

Music in SF will be at the show tonight with a full recap tomorrow.
