in Music News by

Riding high from debuting this summer with hip-hop icon Nas and filming Universal Pictures’ Girl Trip with Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith, brass band The soul Rebels have been selected by Ms. Lauryn Hill to open seven tour dates, August through December on her current “MLH Caravan: Diaspora Calling!” tour, including performances in Philadelphia, Austin, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, Louisville and San Antonio.

Topping off the fall touring season, The Soul Rebels featuring Talib Kweli will embark on their eight date “Sound System” Tour of the West Coast kicking off on September 22nd through October 2nd, previously announced by Billboard.

“The Soul Rebels are the missing link between Public Enemy and Louis Armstrong.”
