“For ‘Native Land,’ we collaborated with Filip Anthonissen to imagine a visual journey through the landscapes of birth, life, and death, paying homage throughout to every person’s unique ancestral story,” explains Paris Strother. “We love the surreal quality of this video – it’s been incredible to work with a series of artists who contribute so much to the narrative and bring the songs to life.”

“Native Land” is the third installment in KING’s animated video series of their critically acclaimed debut album, We Are KING, which has earned coveted top spots on “Best Of 2016 So Far” lists by TIME Magazine, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Complex, NPR, The Guardian, Stereogum, Noisey, Newsday and The Quietus. Essence premiered their Muhammad Ali tribute “The Greatest” and praised the ladies for their “eclectic beats and lush harmonies.” Furthermore, Billboard premiered their “Carry On” music video and are “presently relishing in the love-themed set which bowed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart and in the top 10 on Independent Albums.”
