Jill Scott has just announced a 2017 Summer tour. After more than one year since the release of her fifth studio album, Woman, the R&B singer is set to hit the road and make a Bay Area stop at the Fox in Oakland. The 25 city tour trek will take Scott through Baltimore, New Orleans, New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles and more.
Woman was released on July 24th and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, making this the singer’s third number one studio-album to date. Jill was quoted as describing the sound of her latest album as “classic Philly soul meets Country rhythm served with captivating storytelling”.
