Hot off the success of her song “Don’t Be So Shy”, which went Gold in four countries, Imany just released her EP, No Reason No Rhyme.

The five-track EP showcases the French singer’s raspy and haunting voice, layered on top of a rhythmic quartet. The five-track release deals with topics like breaking up in “No Reason No Rhyme,” while “Lately” is a love story in the sincerest form of the term. “I’m Not Sick But I’m Not Well” has hints of influences from Bob Dylan, and a new acoustic version of “Don’t Be So Shy.”

Blending elements of soul, folk, blues and pop, Imany has really come into her own sound and carved her own sonic niche.

Paired with the release of the EP, Imany also released a music video for her song titled “Lately,” which is part of a larger album work coming out later this year. The video stars choreographer Lil Buck who’s been featured in commercials for Apple, Lexus, Louis Vuitton and as well as on shows like America’s Best Dance Crew.
