Outside Lands 2017: Day One Recap

in Music News/Photos by

Outside Lands kicked off today without a glitch. Well, for the most part. A Tribe Called Quest got rescheduled for tomorrow, which may have caused some heartache for single-ticket buyers looking to see the act, but overall the event was a big success.

Highlights included a nostalgic performance by Dr. Octogon, a Bay Area legend that hasn’t been seen on stage for ages. Tove Lo was spectacular as always and gave everyone a taste of her best assets. Sleigh Bells blew the audience away on the Twin Peaks stage in anticipation of their gig at the Independent later on that night. Little Dragon brought their A-Game to the Outside Lands stage which enjoyed a peek of sunlight from a mostly fog-filled afternoon.

Check out our selection of some of the best photos from Day One of Outside Lands.
