Music City Rehearsal

Prepare to be impressed, it’s easy to see why Music City takes the top spot. The rehearsal spaces are fantastic and modern, and there are plenty of instruments to make use of.

You can also take lessons, Lance the drum instructor is highly experienced and offers incredible lessons. It’s open 7 days a week from 11 in the morning till 11 o’clock at night.

You’ll pay around $80 for 3 hours in the studio.

Lennon Rehearsal & Music Services

They have all of the equipment available that you might need, and Monday to Friday the opening hours are 11 pm to 1 am. Over the weekend 12 pm to 10:30 pm. The weekend is prime time for concerts in San Francisco, after all.

It’s a quirky studio with a rich history rent both backline and small sound systems. Also, Lennon offers Drum Lessons by Dynamic Drumming and has music lessons, classes, and workshops by Blue Bear School of Music.

The music store is open late night with drum accessories, bass and guitar accessories, and their rates for a fully equipped studio with “Big Loud” Pro gear start at just $60.00 for 3 hours, and $70.00 gets you a room the size of the Bottom of the Hill with a full stage 27 x 14, stage monitors and FOH sound system.

Tiny Telephone Recording

Gulch Alley

Great equipment and experienced musicians running the show, Gulch Alley is open from 9 in the morning till 12:30 am 7 days a week.

A single session will set you back $60 and runs for 3 hours.

Hyde Street Studios

Tupac once recorded at Hyde Street Studios, and Joe Satriani hangs out- so it’s kind of a big deal. It’s the studio that never sleeps, open 7 days a week from 6am till 5:30 it the morning.

Light Rail Studios
